Our wooden shutters are sourced from sustainable, deciduous trees and usually comprising of basswood. What sets a quality hardwood shutter apart is how it is made. As a natural product, it may have a tendency wrap or shrink over time. However, with over 30 years of product enhancements into our wooden shutters this is almost totally eliminated with LVL cores and specific kiln dried practices specific for the UK climate.

Wooden shutters are suitable for almost any window and are available in any shutter style, with almost endless customisation options. They are also available in any colour enabling you to choose from 51 standard colours and stains. You also have the option of specifying your favourite Dulux, Farrow & Ball or Little Greene colours to make your wooden shutters the focal point of your home.

How much do wooden shutter blinds cost?

The main cost factor of wooden shutter blinds is the size of your windows. In addition, the total order size, complexity and any specific customisations such as colour, shapes or tilt mechanisms. Prices start from £230 per square metre*, including design, measurement, and professional installation. Prices can vary between retailers, depending on the quality and how the wooden shutters are made.

What quality should I expect?

Our wooden shutters are 100% natural wood, including the louvres. Our wood is stored for six months to allow it to settle before being kiln dried twice in a high-tech, computer-controlled drying facility before being crafted. The shutters are finished with a high-quality, proprietary paint system which has been developed specifically for finishing our shutters. We use a minimum of six coats of either paint or stain to ensure that our shutters are not susceptible to colour fading or discolouration.
